Hooray for Spring!

While the winter weather hasn't fully packed its bags yet, the glimpes of spring have been wonderful. The sunshine seems to make for a happier household all around. The kids have been able to play outside and we've even made it to the park a couple of times. Even the pleas to watch Dora or Diego have minimized greatly. The outlook from here on out is pretty darn good: a visit from the easter bunny, the blooming of flowers, bike rides, picnics & BBQ's, family trips to the beach (my fave), fireworks, the Tigers, etc... I am sure you can all join me in saying good riddance to winter.

My Baby is Two!

Our little "Baby C" had his 2nd birthday last Sunday. We celebrated by having some ice cream and cake with the family last Saturday. Grandma got him a Thomas cake and I never seen a little boy with a bigger smile. His face just lit up when he saw his cake and everyone started to sing. I think it's safe to say he loved having a day that was all about him.

Two Of A Kind

Last night Christian & Isabelle each picked out a pair of spongebob pajamas and decided that they wanted to wear the pajamas and their socks "half and half". They were so proud of their idea that they had to run downstairs and show Brian right away. And then this morning they insisted on wearing their "half and half" mismatched socks to preschool so they could show all their friends.

People always ask me if they have any twin tendencies, and I don't really notice many but they are extremely close. While Carson is often off doing his own thing, these two usually like to do the same thing and one is usually following the other around. I don't necessarily know that this is attributed to them being twins. I imagine it could just be that they are the same age so they have the same interests. I would think most siblings that grow up so close in age would have a similar bond.

At school yesterday they made friendship awards and they both picked eachother to make one for which I thought was very sweet. (Another boy is their class with a slightly older brother opted to make his award for his transformer) Here they are:
